On August 16th and 17th, locals and visitors alike can enjoy free live music while treating themselves to over 20 different beers on site. This event benefits the Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe. $10 Gets you a commemorative pint glass with 2 beer tickets. Still thirsty? $3 for 1 beer ticket or $5 for two! |
Dog & Cat Socialization Training |

Do you love to work with animals? Contact Erin for more information: erin@hstt.org or 530-587-0667. Kids 10-15 years and older may volunteer if accompanied by a parent. Directions to the kennel: From Brockway Rd, turn onto Estates Drive (by the Skate Park in Regional Park), then take last left turn onto Martis Rd., then take the 2nd left onto Riverview Drive. Riverview Drive deadends at the Town of Truckee Corporation Yard. Enter the gate and drive to the very back of the yard to the animal shelter buildings. |
Art Bark Festival |

The Village at Squaw Valley |
Animal Art & Wine Festival with over 20 animal themed booths with a benefit wine tasting and FREE live music from 11 to 5 pm. Festival also includes a dog jump competition, Busy Bee Dog Show and a Squaw Valley Rescue Dog Demonstration. This event benefits the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe & Squaw Rescue Dogs. $30 donation includes a commemorative wine glass for wine tasting (1 to 5pm) participants.
