Purchase disease screening tests for 5 dogs or 7 cats to determine their health status. Testing for heartworm and lyme disease in dogs and leukemia in cats helps us know how to care for the animals and give them the happiest, healthiest life possible.

Give Animals Comfort
Provide toys and treats for homeless dogs and cats every month. The environment at the shelter can be very stressful for our reluctant tenants but we try to comfort them in any way possible. Cats love to play with fuzzy mice, puppies love to chew squeaky toys, older dogs find comfort in a stuffed animal and they all love to have special treats.

Microchip 5 Dogs or Cats Each Month
Microchip 5 dogs and/or cats each month. Research states that the return-to-owner rate for cats was 20 times higher and for dogs 2 ½ times higher for microchipped pets than were the rates of return for all stray cats and dogs that had entered the shelters. In countless cases, microchips were the only way pets were re-united with their owners.

Help Reduce Pet Overpopulation
Spay or Neuter 12 dogs and/or cats each year.. Every animal that is spayed or neutered helps reduce the overwhelming pet overpopulation problem. We sterilize every animal in our care prior to adoption and your support with covering these costs would make a huge difference to our organization.
