Low-Cost Surgeries for Pets of Local Residents
The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, the Town of Truckee Animal
Control, and participating vets have combined forces to provide a low cost Community Spay and Neuter Program. Through this
program, local residents
who require financial assitance can obtain
low-cost spay or neuter surgeries for their dogs and cats at local veterinary clinics.

kittens -- future homeless animals.

instructions and a list of participating veterinarians.
Since the programs funds are limited, we ask that the voucher be used only by pet owners who cannot afford the surgery without assistance. This program is only available to permanent residents of the Town of Truckee, Eastern Placer County, Eastern Sierra County and Eastern Nevada County whose income level is at or below the median income level for your household size.
