The 2012 Brews, Jazz & Funk Fest will be one of the best weekend events in the Tahoe area this summer!

Breweries from throughout the western states showcase their best brews (only $4.00 each) while fantastic bands bring the funk making this fun-filled event one of the most popular in the Tahoe region. AND you can bring your canine companions to party down with you! $5.00 entry donation benefits homeless pets in our community. Brews, Jazz & Funk rocks from 2:00 to 8:00 pm.

Have you been hankerin' for a hoe down?

If the answer is yes, join the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe for our 3rd Annual Peaks & Paws Festival featuring a fantastic line up of live music, local art, wine tasting, beer sipping and tons of dog-themed fun, including guided hikes! All benefitting our community's homeless pets.

A lineup of great bluegrass acts will provide the perfect setting for sipping delicious wines from vitners throughout Northern California, sampling craft beers and perusing our very talented crew of local artisits.

The range of art will be sure to fit everyone's taste. Ranging from rugid, and rustic, metal sculptures created by local artist, Pat Blide, to local painter Aimee Had's whimsical, and colorful, depictions of pets, the Tahoe lifestyle and cool abstracts.

The beverages will be flowin' & the Humane Society folks will be groovin', all to benefit homeless pets in our community. Please bring your canine companion our for a super fun weekend with us! Last year's event was a ridiculous amount of fun, so don't miss out, mark Saturday, August 25th  and Sunday, August 26th on your calendar, polish up your cowboy boots and get ready to party!
